Ground Investigation Associates Ltd (GIA) is an independent Geo-Environmental Consultancy focused on providing Clients with cost-effective consultancy advice and Services.

 

We provide a broad range of services by working with trusted Subcontractors and Consultancies, and offer a one-shop stop for all of your ground investigation requirements. We have experience of working with Architects, Developers, House Builders, Civil and Structural Engineers, Regulatory Authorities and Private Individuals.

Dave has many years' experience of working on the most challenging contaminated land sites and uses his expertise in contaminated land management and risk assessment to deliver bespoke and practical solutions to Clients. His experience includes working in Local Government and in Geotechnical and Environmental Consultancy. Dave is a Chartered Environmentalist and Chartered Water and Environment Manager.

Phil started his career as a geologist in the oil and gas exploration industry, and has worked in large multi disciplinary and small Geotechnical and Environmental Consultancies. He has extensive experience of managing a wide range of ground investigation projects on greenfield and brownfield sites, and specialises in the assessment of mining legacy risks. Phil is a Chartered Geologist and Registered Ground Engineering Professional.
